Average Consumer Debt Excluding Mortgage
TransUnion says average consumer non-mortgage debt rose again, up to $26,221. Per person! Or rather, per consumer, as we are now fondly referred to.
Curiously, TransUnion claims this to be the highest amount of debt since they started tracking it, in 2004??
A credit rating agency started tracking debt eight years ago? Bizarre.
